Get To Know More About Matt Penman
Matt is an Osteopath out of Oxford, UK, with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy. Before joining Calibrate he worked in clinics in Oxford, London, as well as in the Caribbean where he worked with both professional and retired athletes, international film stars, as well as people just starting their health and fitness journey.
He previously worked as a certified practitioner with one of the UK’s largest arthritis charities, supporting people with long-term joint and mobility issues. This experience deepened his interest in managing chronic conditions and helped shape his patient-centred approach — one that emphasises empathy, education, and long-term functional outcomes.
He has a special interest in strength training, chronic and complex pain, and promoting healthy ageing. Matt’s clinical approach is grounded in both evidence and empathy. He takes time to understand each patient’s story and tailors treatment to their goals, helping them feel confident in their bodies again.
